How this site works

Wind-Rated Pergola lines up the wind and snow numbers that pergola and gazebo makers publish, then says how much proof sits behind each one. Most of it is the maker's own claim, and the guides mark it that way.

Where numbers come from

• The maker's product page, spec sheet and instruction manual.
• Each wind or snow figure is written down with a link and the date it was read.
• If a company's own pages disagree, the number is left out.
• Product descriptions are never copied. Every summary is written fresh.

Limits

Nothing here has been built, tested or stood under in a storm by the site, and nobody here is an engineer. Local building rules come first. Put questions to the maker in writing before spending real money.
